10-day-old puppy rescued from garbage is enjoying a warm bath in the sink to get warm a little
A trio of newborn canines was discovered discarded in a trash heap inside a bag in the Lone Star State at nearly ten days of age. The tiny trio was shivering and in desperate need of a soak in warm water to help stabilize their body heat.
In an endearing clip, the rescue workers filmed one of these pups relishing a gentle soak in a kitchen basin. The sheer adorableness of the event is overwhelming…
Upon the arrival of “DFW Rescue Me” staff at the scene, benevolent locals had already extracted the pups from their plastic prison and situated them in a secure spot.
The rescued pups were found in a perilous state. They were battling chills, dehydration, and hunger.
Pups at such a tender age face long odds for survival sans the nourishing presence of their mother. Even so, the volunteers were undeterred, pouring their hearts into the care of these youngsters.
“We have taken to feeding them with a bottle and placing them in tepid baths to help normalize their temperatures. Consistent feedings every couple of hours are key now, and we’re keeping fingers crossed,” revealed the compassionate rescue team.
In the footage, you’ll witness a young pup basking in the warmth of a soothing wash, nestled comfortably in the hands of a carer. It’s a sight so heartwarming, it’s sure to capture your gaze for hours on end!
