Formerly believing that he would never be able to have children, Anderson Cooper is now the delighted father of two sons
His first son, Wyatt Morgan, was born in April 2020. The name “Morgan” has family significance, as it was a name considered on his late mother Gloria Vanderbilt’s side and named after her late father, Wyatt Emory Cooper.
In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres’ EllenTube, Cooper humorously admitted to buying numerous parenting books but never reading them. Despite the lack of preparation, she expressed joy in all aspects of parenthood, crediting the support of her ex-husband and co-parent, Benjamin Maisani.
The family has recently grown with the arrival of Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper. Cooper shared this news on his show “Anderson Cooper 360” and revealed that Maisani was in the process of adopting Wyatt.
Sebastian, born healthy and content, already makes a strong impression with his sporadic hiccups. Cooper, expressing his love for Maisani as his dearest friend, is determined to co-parent both sons. Despite the initial difficulties, he feels “definitely calmer” this time around as a first-time father.
