New shocking true story on Netflix: “I cried for hours” VIDEO
The new creation that has riveted Netflix users to the screens is the seven-episode “Boy vs. Space” series set in the dusty suburbs of Brisbane in 1985.
The series follows high school student Eli Bell and his older brother Gus who live in a working-class neighborhood with their mother Frankie, who suffers from addiction, and their stepfather Lyle.
Although Eli has a hard time with school bullies and his stepfather, he is also guided by a warm-hearted convicted felon and a pen pal who is serving time in prison.
In an attempt to find out what his stepfather is really up to, Eli takes a wrong turn and gets involved in the criminal underworld of his town.
The series already holds a solid 86 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and 8/10 on IMDb, and some fans have gone a step further, giving it a 10/10 rating while describing it as “beautiful, brilliant and thought-provoking.”
On platform X, many shared their impressions, and viewers often wrote that the series kept them riveted to the screen.
