Mom has a warning for other parents after playground craze leaves her 11-year-old son “looking like an alien”
Curiosity is a natural part of childhood, as youngsters are always eager to explore and experience new things. While this sense of adventure is a healthy part of growing up, it is crucial for parents to vigilantly supervise their kids and arm them with knowledge to make wise choices, especially when not under direct parental watch.
A young boy of 11 years, Tyler Broome, suffered severe injuries after engaging in a risky challenge that’s been circulating on YouTube, known as “the roundabout of death.” His story is now being shared by his family as a stern warning to other parents to steer clear of such hazardous activities.
Tyler was drawn into the stunt trying to prove his bravery to his peers. This act of daring bravado resulted in him losing consciousness and sustaining potential damage to his brain and eyesight.
The type of injury Tyler experienced is comparable to those encountered by astronauts or fighter pilots exposed to intense G-forces.
This particular stunt involves participants sitting at the center of a playground merry-go-round which is then spun at high velocities using a motorcycle’s rear wheel.
