The iconic singer of The Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, 79, has taken his relationship with 36-year-old Melanie Hamrick to the next level by proposing with an exquisite engagement ring.

Mick surprised Melanie with the sparkling symbol of their love on a trip to New York. Now, the delighted mother of one of his children is frequently seen with the ring, a perpetual adornment on her finger, basking in its glow.

“At the American Ballet Theater, Melanie couldn’t hold back her joy as she shared news of her engagement to Mick with her closest companions. She proudly revealed that the ring is a testament to their impending nuptials, and her family is in on the joyful secret too,” shared a confidant.

Jagger, however, seems content without a wedding on the horizon. “Regardless, Melanie cherishes the engagement deeply. Her circle of friends are overjoyed by her happiness,” added the well-informed source.

Their romance first came to light in 2014, when Jagger and the accomplished dancer were seen together in Zurich, sparking speculation. Many of Mick’s acquaintances suspected this would be a short romance, especially since it began soon after the tragic passing of his previous partner.

Defying those expectations, the couple’s relationship has only grown stronger. In 2016, they celebrated the birth of their son, Devereaux, expanding Jagger’s family as his eighth child.
