The dog gave his life to save the family from the snake

The saying that dogs are man’s best friend took on a heartrending significance for a household in Kuching, Malaysia, after a harrowing encounter with a venomous serpent.
A residential area in Kuching, nestled in the verdant state of Sarawak on Kalimantan Island, bore witness to the selfless courage of a dog named Chico. Chico lost his life after courageously confronting a lethal snake.

Upon the intrusion of the hazardous creature into the family’s abode, Chico did not hesitate to engage it in a fierce skirmish. He valiantly fought the intruder until succeeding in its demise. Sadly, during the fray, the snake delivered a fatal bite to Chico. After the battle, he retreated to the porch where he eventually succumbed to his injuries.

“Regrettably, we were powerless to save him after his valiant effort to dispatch a venomous snake within our dining space,” remarked Chico’s bereft owner.
“In our hearts, your memory will endure, Chico. Till we rejoice in reunion in a realm beyond, farewell, and may you find peace,” penned a grief-stricken Alice Minggu.
Chico was not merely a pet; he was a cherished family member, a fact he confirmed through his ultimate sacrifice.
